NSU Delhi organises Mega Blood Donation Camp

New Delhi: The Naga Students’ Union Delhi organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with SPUNER on 06th August

The Naga Students’ Union Delhi organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp from North East people and other volunteers in collaboration with SPUNER (A Special Unit for the North East Region) on 6th of August 2022 at Blood Centre, Main Hospital of blood Transfusion Medicine AIIMS, New Delhi. The Blood donation started at 10:00 in the morning and lasted till 5:00 in the evening.

Kelhusilie Nagi President NSUD informed Nagaland Tribune that the Blood Donation camp was successful because of the support rendered by Hibu Tamang IPS, Nodal Officer for Norther East People and joint Commissioner Delhi Police.

He added that during the previous years the blood donation had some validity but the donation drive organised today has no validity and can be used anytime.

He informed that Nagaland dignitaries like Advisor to CM and Gen Secretary of NDPP, Abu Metha, Kuolie Mere Deputy Director, Senior PRO Nagaland House and Vitso Rio also turned up for the blood donation along with 80 other volunteers sent by the tribal units under NSUD and others from the North East.

Nagi further lauded Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for providing the much-needed financial support to organize the donation camp.
