The 10th Mimkut Mini Hornbill Festival was held at Sports Complex, Phaipijang Village, Dimapur under the theme, ‘Unity Through Culture’ on January 16, informed the DIPR. Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, NCS graced the occasion as the Special Guest.

In his address, the DC expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to come and celebrate the rich culture and traditions associated with Mimkut of the Kukis.

He also acknowledged the youth for taking active part in the celebration by participating in various dances. Chang stated that the Nagas are recognized for the unique and rich culture and traditions.

During the celebration, cultural dance display was performed by Molvom Cultural Troupe, Maova Cultural Troupe, Phaipijang Cultural Troupe, Kuki Union Dimapur Cultural Troupe and many more.
