Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of Regional Transport Authority, Kohima is inviting applications from eligible unemployed youths of Kohima district for 110 Two Wheeler Taxi Permits allotted to the RTA Kohima.

In a public notice issued on 19 February 2025, the DC mentioned that out of the 110 permits, 10 is reserved for eligible female candidates (subject to availability). The candidates must be unemployed indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland in between age 18 to 35 years and residents of Kohima district.

The application forms will be issued from DC Office, Kohima w.e.f 20th February, 2025 during office hours. However, those who have submitted applications earlier need to apply afresh in prescribed format, the notice stated. The required list of documents is mentioned in the application form. The RTA informed that incomplete applications would be rejected.

The last date of submission of application forms is 11th March, 2025 (Up to 04:00 PM).

Shortlisted candidates will undergo two wheeler riding test and interview (To be notified after screening of applications).
