In view of the upcoming 4th Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, the Superintendent of Police, Kohima has imposed a ban on unmanned aircraft system flights from 5:00 pm on 25th February to 5:00 on 27th February 2024 under Section 24(2) of Ministry of Civil Aviation, Drone Rules 2021.

In the Order, the SP declared the Assembly Secretariat Complex and its adjoining areas within an aerial distance of one KM radius as “Temporary Red Zone” and prohibited the flying of drones in this area.

The 4th Session of the 14th NLA is scheduled to be conducted from 26th February to 1st March 2024.
