15 Candidates have filed their nomination papers for Urban Local Bodies (ULB) election for 9 wards having 3 wards reserved for women in Medziphema Town Council since 10th June 2024, DIPR informed today.

The following candidates filed their nominations paper:-

Zasivi, Independent candidate from ward -5,

Teneikuolie Krose, Independent candidate from ward-9,

Thangngam Guite, Independent candidate from ward-2,

Kepe Nakhro, Independent candidate from ward-8,

Mhasilevi Kuotsu, Independent candidate from ward-3,

Shikhuli Zhimomi, INC candidate from ward-6,

Noketho Charles Kikhi, ward-2,

Kethosenuo, Independent candidate from ward-4,

Vilephrenuo Khruomo, Independent candidate from ward -4,

Vinisienuo, Independent candidate from ward-4,

Neisaleno Khro, NDPP candidate from ward-1,

Thangminlen Singsit, NDPP candidate from ward-2,

Ruuzeu Khate, Independent candidate from ward-1,

Asazo Talie, NDPP candidate from ward -5,

Megozelhou Kuotsu, NDPP candidate from ward-3.

Altogether 4 (four) candidates from NDPP party, 10 (ten) candidates from Independent and 1(one) candidate from INC submitted their relevant nomination paper before the ADC cum Retaining Officer, James Swu under Medziphema, Chumoukedima, the DIPR report stated.
