176 patients treated at Reproductive & Child Health camps in Noklak district

Noklak: The CMO reminded that under the RCH programme, priority is given to pregnant women and children

176 OPT patients were treated at the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) camps in Noklak district on 25 and 26 March 2023.  The District Health Society under the Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health & Family Welfare Noklak organised the camps at Wui HWC (Thonoknyu Block) and Choklangan HWC (Noklak), DIPR informed.

In both the villages, short programmes were held with the villagers before the camp, Dr. Victor NC, CMO urged the villagers to be more health conscious, consider all vertical programmes and asked to avail the services provided free of cost at their door steps by health providers.

The CMO reminded that under the RCH programme, priority is given to pregnant women and children.

During the Reproductive and Child Health camp, FGD, Immunization and family planning activity was held where twelve (12) women received the Intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD).

The team was led by C Hosea, DPM along with the staff from CMO, DH Noklak and Wui and Choklangan HWC Noklak.
