The 17th M. Noke Wangnao Memorial Trophy commenced on October 7. Tongwang Konyak, Chairman of Nagaland Hotels and Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., Government of Nagaland, graced the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest. In’his address, Konyak encouraged the players to maintain discipline and uphold sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

The tournament is being organized by the Mon District Football Organization under the theme “Play with Passion, Win with Pride.” A total of 14 clubs have registered to participate in the competition. The tournament will conclude on October 15.
