18th Chozuba A/C PDA says CM Rio committed to protect faith & identity of Nagas, urge public not to believe in propagandas

Kohima: Alliance leaders take cognizance of ex-candidate of LJP (RV), Dr Chotisuh Sazo for anti-party activities

The 18th Chozuba Assembly Constituency People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA), Phek District, has on Tuesday asserted that the NDPP led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio is committed “to protect the Christian Faith and Identity of the Nagas” and appealed to general public not to believe in the “information from the social Medias and anti-party propagandas”.

In a press release, V Epao, President, NDPP Chozuba AC, informed the PDA Election Committee for the constituency held a meeting on Tuesday at Kohima in view of the ensuing General Election to the 18th Lok Sabha. The meeting was attended by Veprasa Nyekha, ex-candidate of NPP, Vezhosa Chuzho, president of NPF, Thupusayi Shijoh, President of BJP and Vevohu Epao, President of NDPP from 18th Chozuba AC in the presence of NPDPP MLA and Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo.

During the meeting, the alliance leaders recorded its “appreciation to the leadership of the NDPP, BJP, NCP, NPP, NPF, LJP (RV), RPI, JDU and IND for coming together to support the PDA Consensus candidate Dr. Chumben Murry for the lone Lok Sabha seat.” They also appreciated Advisor, CAWD & Taxes and Convener, PDA Election Committee for 18th Chozuba A/C, Kudecho Khamo for taking initiative in touring all the villages and towns under the constituency.

Further, the members took cognizance of the ex-candidate of the LJP (RV), Dr Chotisuh Sazo for the fallout activities and demanded a clear stand of the party stating, “Considering the activities of the LJP (RV) party led by the Ex-Speaker, Dr. Chotisuh Sazo, the members have unanimously decided to appeal to the Party high Command for the clear stand in the constituency and issue necessary directive to stop them from anti-party activities and come out with a written letter in support of the consensus candidate.”

Furthermore, the members unanimously appealed to all the party rank and file of all the parties to work hard with utmost sincerity and dedication to ensure victory with a good margin to the NDPP led PDA consensus candidate.
