19-year-old Visoneilie Khoubve from Zhadima village emerged as the champion of the 32nd Northern Angami Youth & Sports Association (NAYSA) Group-C held in Zhadima village on Thursday, defeating 18-year-old Thejavizo Merhieso from Nerhema village.
Khoubve walked away with a cash prize of Rs 30,000 while Merhieso received Rs 20,000.
Medophretuo Khoubve (Zhadima) and Videlhou Kiewhuo (Nerhema) secured the third and fourth positions respectively, receiving a cash reward of Rs 10,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively.

Earlier, the inaugural ceremony of the wrestling meet was graced by the president of NDPP 11th Northern Angami-II Assembly Constituency, Vibeilietuo Kets, as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Kets said sporting events across the state are celebrated like festivals.
Sports, he observed, provides a platform that gives fame, name and livelihood to those who pursue it with dedication.
He therefore encouraged sportspersons to work hard and pursue their area of interest seriously.
Kets further stated that investments are made to organise major sports events at all levels, from the villages to across the state. He encouraged sportspersons to work hard, be consistent and pursue their passion.
NAYSA-C president Vizosielie delivered the presidential address while Zhadima Village Council (ZVC) chairman Neilalhoulie Soliezuo conveyed greetings.
Vilavor Loucü, Mengubeiü Khro and Keduolhoulie Khro presented the theme song while Youth Alive Zhadi Bawe AG church presented a special number.
Gracing the closing ceremony as the special guest, DUDA director Lithrongla T Rutsa said that sport remains an event that brings people together, showcasing the spirit of unity. She encouraged players to compete with the spirit of unity and forgiveness, while also showing respect for opponents, coaches and others.
Rutsa later presented the cash prizes to the winners of the wrestling meet. Thousands of spectators from 12 villages witnessed the wrestling meet where 38 wrestlers competed for the title.
