The Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NEPED) in collaboration with the North Eastern Council (NEC) will be organizing a two-day State Level Workshop on “Empowering Communities Through Eco-Tourism: Conservation, Livelihood and Sustainable Development” on February 25 and 26 at the Capital Convention Centre Kohima.
In a press release by Team Leader, NEPED, Kovi Meyase stated that the workshop would be held with resource persons specialized in varied related subject matters. These include Neikedolie Hiekha, Ex-Chairman, Eco-Tourism Management Committee (ETMC), Khonoma, Imlikumba, Senior Project Manager, Foundation for Ecological Security (FES), Takum Chang, Deputy Project Director, FBMP, Kevisato Sanyü, Founder NagaEd, Rokongulie Meyase, Chairman, Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary (KNCTS), and Menguzelie Suohu, Asst. of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
