Advisor for Water Resources, Tongpang Ozukum on Wednesday held a thanksgiving program at his official residence here in Kohima.

In his thanksgiving speech, Ozukum expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, NDPP President Chingwang Konyak, NDPP Vice President Rusentong Longkumer and Secretary General and Abu Metha for reposing their trust and confidence on him and allotting him the party ticket to contest from 24 Angetyongpang A/C.

Ozukum, asserted that as mentioned during the election campaign, a Development Board for 24 Angetyongpang A/C will be constituted to work for the development of Angetyongpang Area. The board will comprise of members from all the villages and town ward of the area, he said.

He also said that in order to help the civil service aspirants from his constituency he will set up a hostel in Kohima where coaching will be provided to the students.

Further, Ozukum also informed that an Ambulance service has been initiated for the people of 24 A/C and people can now avail the service on subsidised rate.

Earlier, exhortation was delivered by Chuba Ozukum, Consultant, Dept of Law & Justice. Special song was presented by Mongsenyimti tsür Telongjem, Kohima. Invocation was delivered by I Zulu Jamir, Associate Pastor Mission, KABA and benediction by O Sashi Ozukum, Pastor KABA. Vote of thanks was pronounced by I Meyionen Jamir, Chief Information Commissioner Nagaland.

The program was attended by people of 24 Angetyongpang residing in Kohima, Ungma Union Kohima, and well-wishers.
