The 24 Angetyongpang AC NDPP which kicked off its door-to-door registration for Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) on 28 November 2022 has again registered 162 from Chakpa and Salulemang under Mokokchung district on 10 August 2023. 98 beneficiaries were registered from Salulemang and 64 from Chakpa. It was initiated and implemented by 24th Angetyongpang AC NDPP and Sponsored by Tongpang Ozukum, Advisor, Water Resources, Government of Nagaland.

The Angetyongpang AC NDPP expressed sincere appreciation to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for launching such a tremendous scheme for the welfare of the people. The organization is looking forward to more cooperation for the development and upliftment of society as a whole.
S. Meren Jamir, Salulemang chairman and Imkonglemba, Chakpha chairman, both appreciated Advisor Ozukum for his tireless efforts in sponsoring the scheme and encouraging the people to get access to such schemes which will benefit everyone. They also urged all their village people to avail the scheme when initiatives are at time and get hold of the scheme.
There are 12 units under 24 Angetyongpang AC where 20 operators from every unit were trained and deployed as operators for proper implementation of the registration drive.
A continuous registration phase from 28 November which had registered 1229 beneficiaries were successfully enrolled and now 2,406 altogether, the 24 Angetyongpang AC NDPP considers a positive response from the people and expressed their gratitude to the Advisor for sponsoring the scheme and reaching out to the people in need of such schemes.
The party also asserted that it has given all efforts to make sure that the scheme reaches every eligible beneficiary in Angetyongpang AC and urged upon the general public of 24 Angetyongpang AC to come forward and register to avail the benefits of the scheme if they have missed or willing to get registered to Angetyongpang AC NDPP office. It also informed that people willing to register can contact their respective unit operators and the AC office anytime.
The CMHIS scheme covers 1950 diseases in total for treatment in empanelled clinics, hospitals across the nation and therefore encouraged the general public to avail the benefits offered through the scheme.
CMHIS is a public health insurance scheme by the Government of Nagaland to provide free health insurance cover of Rs. 5 Lakhs per family per year.
