24th Angetyongpang A/C: Tongpang Ozukum embarks on second phase of declaration tour

NDPP candidate to the seat of 24th Angetyongpang A/C, Tongpang Ozukum kick-started the second phase of his declaration tour on Tuesday at Tongdentsüyong Ward, Mokokchung, where he plead for support in the ensuing 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election.

Tongpang Ozukum was accompanied by his wife, NDPP Mokokchung Region, BJP Mokokchung District and 24th Angetyongpang A/C, NDPP.

In his address to the people of Tongdentsüyong Ward, the candidate stated that his victory in the last election was nothing short of a miracle and that it was purely the work of God and the understanding of the people that prevailed.

Chairman, Tongdentsüyong Ward, said that the ward leaders were keeping a close eye on the functioning of election camps in the ward irrespective of the parties. He further encouraged the citizens of Tongdentsuyong ward to abide by the tenets of the Clean Election Movement.

NDPP candidate Tongpang Ozukum wraps up first phase of declaration tour

The candidate proceeded to Impur for Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM), prayer service on the same day.

The candidate is scheduled to attend the Common Platform at Alempang Ward and give his declaration at Chuchu Town on February 15, where he will be accompanied by the Chief Campaigner of NDPP, Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland.

The candidate is also scheduled to give his declaration at Salulamang village and Sungkomen Ward on February 16.
