The 24th and 25th matches of the 25th edition of NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy was held at I.G. Stadium, Kohima, on October 3.
The match saw Chedema Village Youth Organisation (CVYO) and Mez & Co commanding victories on Thursday.
In Match No. 24, Chedema VYO scored 7-1 against United Brothers Club. Benjamin (14) scored twice in the 20th and 44th minutes, while Lenboilun (12) scored in the 30th minute. Lunmincian (10) scored another goal in the 42nd, 65th and 73rd minutes, and Menuophretuo (9) scored in (90+2). United Brothers Club’s lone response came from Thejavizo Peseyie (7) in the 60th minute.
Benjamin was adjudged Player of the Match and received the award from Kezevituo Chakrünuo, Secretary (Property), Angami Public Organisation (APO).

In Match No. 25, Mez & Co dominated Nurturing Youngsters 9-0. Bijoy Moktan (30) starred with four goals in the 23rd, 25th, 35th and 69th minutes. Tangua Ragui (6), L. Thangkholen Khongsi (3), Noulevituo Pienyii (9), and Yitachu Thupetor (28) added one each, while an own goal was scored in the 89th minute. Yitachu Thupetor (28) scored another goal at 90 minutes.
Bijoy Moktan was named Player of the Match and was felicitated by Alezo Rino, former treasurer of the Angami Students’ Union (ASU).
