Lancer CC and Phyolumo XI moved ahead to the Semi Finals of the 28th Winter Cricket Challenge. The Challenge is currently being held at the Wokha Public Ground.

In the first match, Lancer CC won the toss and opted to bat first and set a huge target of 186 runs in 20 overs losing 6 wickets with a contribution from Wahid Ali who was unbeaten for 72, Santosh 34, Moakumzuk 25 and Hayithung Ngullie 21. While chasing the target, BBC CC lost the match in the 17th over by 95 runs losing all the wickets. Yanrenthung Ngullie 26 , Abhishek 17 and Penthungo T.Lotha 10 were the only three batsman to reach the double figure mark. Wahid Ali of Lancer CC was adjudged the man of the match for his 72 runs knock.

In the second match, Phyolumo XI won the toss where they opted to bat first and set a target of 178 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 Overs with top contribution from Longkumar 35, Chumdemo 22, Dipen 45 and Nayan 25. In the second innings while chasing the target, Rampage CC failed to reach the target and Phyolumo XI won the match by 47 runs in the 20th over.

Top contributers for Rampage CC were Nchumthung 44, Renben Mozhui 18 and Mohit Chauhan 21. Dipen Saharia of Phyolumo XI was adjudged the man of the match for his 45 runs knock.
