To ensure the successful counting of votes in the election to the 1 Nagaland Parliamentary constituency in respect of 41 to 48 & 55 Assembly segments of Mon district Nagaland, the 2nd Phase Training for Counting Officials was conducted on 1st June 2024 at Town Council Hall, Mon informed DIPR.

K. Temjennaro Longkumer, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mon, briefed the roles and responsibility of the Counting Officials. Wherein she said, although zero voting was reported in the district, everything will be done in a procedure. She appeals to them to be more attentive on training and also to be on time on the Counting Day to avoid untoward situations. She also reminded them about the 3rd level randomisation of counting officials and the last will on the counting day.
