The inaugural program of the 33rd Northern Angami Youth and Sports Association Group D (NAYSA-D) was held at Botsa and Tsiemekhuma Basa Ground. The event will start from January 21 till 24.
Advisor Transport and Technical education Temjenmenba in his speech stated that this a day to celebrate unity. He acknowledged the sports platform as a powerful tool to bring diverse communities together, fostering a spirit of togetherness and collaboration. He encouraged everyone to participate wholeheartedly and give their best, stressing that while winning is important, participation and discipline in sports are even more vital.
The Advisor highlighted the importance of peace and unity in Nagaland, urging the youth to act as ambassadors of harmony and excellence. He shared optimism about the state’s future, mentioning that many investors are showing Interest in Nagaland, which will open new opportunities and avenues for its people. Noting that Nagaland possess abundant untapped resources, the Advisor expressed hope that the state would soon become an economically stable and reliable region.

The event kicked off with great enthusiasm and celebration where 12 units will be participating in the sports meet namely: Chiechama, Nachama, Seiyhama, Tuophema, Tsiemekhuma, Botsa, Gariphema Basa, Gariphema, Tsiemekhuma Basa, Tuophe Phezou, Seiyha Phesa, Teichüma.
Dziese Zumu, Proprietor of M/S Dziese Zumu, launched the team suits and jersey of team NAYSA-D for NASA meet 2025 while Teiso-u Metha lead the oath taking. The program was earlier blessed with an invocation by Pastor Chiechama CRC Rev. Levi Rio. President Neikeso Zumu pronounced the presidential address.
