The 36th Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament, organized by Leo Club of Dimapur began today at the Lions Club Hall, Midland, under the presidentship of Leo Vishal Pareek and chairperson Leo Happy Jain.

VDG-1 Lion Neena Dutta graced the occasion as Chief Guest, and students of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School presented a solo welcome song. The event also featured the 30th Slogan Competition on the theme “Future Without Fear: Say No to War,” encouraging students to voice their vision for peace.

Altogether nine schools are participating in the tournament with 75 players competing in the Singles and Doubles categories.  The tournament is open to both boys and girls.

The tournament would culminate tomorrow. The results of the annual Slogan Contest would also be declared on the occasion.
