The highly anticipated 3rd North East Games 2024 marked a significant milestone on March 16 with the flagging off, of the Games official car sponsored by Toyota.
Abu Metha, the Organizing Secretary of North East Games and Secretary General of Nagaland Olympic Associations, alongside Kuputo Shohe, Joint Secretary of Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) , presided over the official flag-off ceremony of the Games Official car. The NOA extended its appreciation to Toyota Nagaland for the partnership and the collaboration.
“This momentous event signals the commencement of an exhilarating journey celebrating athleticism, unity, and the rich cultural tapestry of the North East region,” stated a press release issued by NOA.
Amidst an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and pride, the ceremony heralded the beginning of an extraordinary spectacle.

The 3rd North East Games 2024, scheduled to unfold from March 18 – 23, promises to be a showcase of unparalleled talent, unwavering dedication, and boundless passion from athletes across the region.
Featuring a diverse array of sports and competitions, the event is poised to enthrall audiences and ignite the spirit of sportsmanship among participants and spectators alike. Athletes from the eight North-eastern states will converge across various districts in Nagaland, competing in 15 diverse sporting disciplines, encapsulating the essence of unity in diversity.
