Kezhalelie Keretsu has been appointed as the Chief of Nagaland Traditional Wrestlings Association while Menuosetuo Yiese has been appointed as the Chief of Nagaland Mas-Wrestling Association for the year 2024-25.

The announcement was divulged in an appointment letters issued to both Keretsu and Yiese on May 1.

In an appointment letter, Sudesh Kumar, President, Traditional Wrestlings Indian Association notified on Keretsu’s appointment as the Chief for Nagaland State. “We would like that while holding this post, you will develop all styles of traditional wrestlings(Belt Wrestling, Ucha Kurash, Khapsagai, Naga Wrestling etc.) in Nagaland and take it to new heights. We wish you a bright future in Traditional Wrestlings India Association,” stated Kumar.

In another letter, Pawan Kumar, President Mas Wrestling India congratulated Menuosetuo Yiese on being appointed as the Chief of Nagaland. Mas-Wrestling Association for the year 2024-25. Kumar expressed hope that Yiese will develop Mas-Wrestling in Nagaland and take it to new heights.
