The 4th edition of Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden (Khensa Women’s Seminar & Conference) came to a close on September 28 after three days of programmes hosted at Khensa Baptist Church. The conference, organised by the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Church under the theme “Südem Akangshiro” (Strengthening the bond that Holds Future Generations), began on September 26 and witnessed the participation of 388 delegates drawn from across Khensa and various units outside the village.
Delegates attended from Kohima Unit (26), Dimapur Unit (27), Mokokchung Unit (28), Yimyu Ward Unit
(48), Kongrokong Unit (33), Tenem Colony (44), Imdong Colony (27), Tzüto Colony (56), Jungli Colony
(20), Amenyong Colony (25), Women Ministry (5), Youth Ministry (12), Volunteers (12), and Khensa
Sensotsür Mungdang (25).
The three-day programme brought together women of Khensa village representing different units and fellowships. Alongside the sessions and deliberations, exhibitions were held showcasing locally produced items, traditional attires, handicrafts, and fresh produce. The conference also included interactive discussions focusing on uplifting one another, strengthening community ties, and promoting unity among women.

At the valedictory service, it was announced that the 5th edition of the Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden will take place in 2029. To facilitate preparations for the next edition, a new Planning Committee
(Asameyang luden) was constituted with the following members: Imchasenla (Convenor),
Yongdangmongla (Secretary), and members Temsujungla, Limanaro, Temsusangla, Alemla Thonger,
Rongsentula, Sentiangla, Asenla Mathi, Sentitola, Fonasangla, Kikayangla, Naropongla, along with the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Arogo serving as Ex-officio.
The organising committee of the 4th edition expressed that its successful conclusion was made possible through the collective participation of all delegates, units, and volunteers. They acknowledged the role of the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Church in spearheading the event and extended appreciation to every unit for their active involvement. Looking ahead, the committee conveyed confidence that the newly appointed planning body will carry forward the vision of strengthening fellowship and unity among Khensa women, ensuring that the 2029 edition will build on the progress made in this year’s gathering.
