520 cadets participate in NCC Combined Annual Training Camp in Chümoukedima

The Combined Annual Training Camps (CATCs) was held at the Patkai Christian College, Chümoukedima by 1 Nagaland NCC Girls Battalion, Kohima. The camp was held from June 15-26 wherein 520 cadets from various districts of Nagaland were trained in various military subjects, weapons, physical training, sports and cultural activities.

During the camp the cadets received knowledge on various contemporary subjects by experts in respective fields, informed a press release by PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh.

On the concluding day of the camp, Maj Gen Gagan Deep, ADG NCC North-East Region visited the campsite. After being formally welcomed, the ADG was briefed on the activities of the camp and interacted ’Ith the cadets and motivated them to make good use of the time and the training curriculum being followed by NCC. He applauded the efforts effort of 1 Naga Girls Battalion while interacting with ANOs and GCI. The ADG also paid a customary visit to the Principal of the Patkai Christian College, Dr Thepfuvilie Pieru and extended his felicitations.
