The 54th Annual Session of the Natha New Students’ Union (NNSU) was held from December 28 to 30 on the theme “Bringing the Future to Life at Its Zenith.”
The programme was graced by agripreneur V Tito Zhimomi as the Chief Guest, Toino S. Rotokha, Executive Officer of NKVIB, as the Guest of Honour, and L. Holuto Ayemi, Area Education Officer, as the Theme Speaker. Viki K. Zhimo, President of the Zunheboto Range Students’ Union, delivered the exhortation.
Addressing the gathering on December 29, Chief Guest V Tito Zhimomi emphasized on the importance of the Word of God, stating that “where there is God’s Word, there is life.” He spoke on divine life and highlighted that Jesus Christ came with a purpose, citing scriptures from John 10:10 and Romans 12:5. He explained that death separates people both physically and spiritually, and that God created human beings to have fellowship with Him.
Zhimomi noted that although there are many religions in the world, Jesus Christ is referred to as the “Last Adam.” He stressed that life’s journey cannot be run alone and encouraged students to rely on
God and receive His holiness while they are alive. He further reminded the students that God has a greater plan for everyone and urged them to draw strength and encouragement from the Scriptures.
He added that eternal life comes through confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and encouraged the students to love, hear, and obey the Word of God, assuring that obedience to God’s Word brings transformation. He concluded by stating that nothing is impossible with the Word of God.
