The Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS) has congratulated the Tuensang District Football Team on becoming champion of the 23rd Dr. T. Ao Trophy held at the Loyem Memorial Astro Turf Ground.
“Your unwavering determination, persistent effort and discipline which have been the main ingredient throughout the Trophy will bear a practical metaphor for the younger sporting generations of the State in general and Tuensang District in particular,” the Chang student body stated.
The CKS also appreciated the Nagaland Football Association and the Tuensang District Football Association for successfully organizing and hosting the coveted Dr. T. Ao Trophy at Tuensang from 17th to 27th September 2024 which “not only showcased the immense talent pool of the state but has also created moments that will be written down in the annals of the football history for Tuensang Chapter.”
Further, it also extended its appreciation to the organisers, the district football associations, players and fans for making the event “Beautiful in its truest essence”.

Meanwhile, the Tuensang Village Students Union has congratulated Ayen Mongba on being crowned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Inter-District Football Championship and stated that his exceptional skills, tireless efforts and unparalleled dedication have earned this prestigious recognition.
“Your Outstanding performance has brought immense pride to Tuensang Village and inspired countless young enthusiasts,” the TVSU said while also wishing the footballer continued success and more laurels in the future.
