Assistant Professor Likhase Sangtam while addressing the young students with a shared passion for participating in the tournament commended the MDBA for organizing the tournament, expressing his own enthusiasm for indoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis, and Cricket during his youth. Witnessing the thriving talents among today’s generation, he encouraged the students to pursue Badminton, noting its popularity across all age groups. Emphasizing the rigor required in sports, he highlighted the importance of discipline in playing, practicing, lifestyle, and dieting, emphasing that while many possess raw talent, few succeed due to a lack of discipline. To those aspiring for a career in Badminton, he advised gaining proper knowledge of the game, attending coaching camps, and maintaining a balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
