The Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan, has summoned the Fifth Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly to meet on 27th August 2024, Secretary-in-Charge, NLA Secretariat, Khruohituonuo Rio informed in a press release.

The 14th NLA will meet for the Fifth Session at 9:30 am in the Assembly Hall of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Kohima, the statement said.

Earlier on 17th July 2024, the Governor had revoked the earlier order summoning the NLA Session on 6th August 2024.

No explanation has been provided on why the Session has been postponed by three weeks.
