The 64 UBA of the Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) Triennial Session began today at Seyochung Village on the theme “Rooted in Culture, Rising with Sustainability.”
During the programme, Longtili C Sangtam, President of the Seyochung Village Students’ Union, announced that SVSU, in partnership with Eduversity, will sponsor a 100% scholarship for two aspirants from Seyochung Village preparing for the NPSC and UPSC examinations.
He further informed that free NPSC study materials would be distributed tomorrow during the programme at the Eduversity stall at the Public Ground, Seyochung Village. In addition, a full set of NSSB study materials will be awarded to the winner of the essay competition.
The president expressed gratitude to all partners for their support. He thanked Eduversity as the main partner, Akehda Amulung as the Green Partner, Atsikeh Event as the Event Partner, The Kiphire Page and Lihpikihna as Media Partners, and Hi-Tech Printing Service, Kiphire, as the Print Partner.
Atsala Anar, Assistant General Secretary of the Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation, encouraged the students by saying that technology should be used wisely for growth while keeping cultural values alive, and urged them not to give up until they truly try.

Meanwhile, Dr H Apise, Secretary of USBLA Sub-Center, Kiphire, added that staying rooted in God’s culture and timeless values is the true path to success.
The triennial session began on a hopeful note, blending tradition, education, and sustainable thinking for the future generation.
