71st All India Co-operative Week observed in Wokha

Wokha: DC handed over computer hardware sets and inverter to 15 selected PACS

The 71st All India Co-operative Week celebration was observed on 19th November 2024 at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference hall, Wokha with Deputy Commissioner, Vineet Kumar (IAS) as the special guest.

Addressing during the gathering, DC urged the co-operative society’s members to take a leading role by focussing their activities for the betterment and economic transformation of our society and appealed them to avail various schemes and projects of the government for the benefit of the society. He also urged them to cope with the slowly growing economic transformation that has been taking place in our state and implement their activities successfully.

During the programme, DC handed over computer hardware sets and inverter to 15 selected PACS (registered Co-operative Societies).

Assistant Register Co-operative Society (ARCS), Wokha Obendangba   delivered the key note address, the programme was chaired by SRCS, Wokha T. Alanthung Ngullie while vote of thanks was proposed by ICS, Wokha Vikethozo Kiso. The celebration was held on the theme “Role of Co-operative in Building Vikisit Bharat”
