The 7th MykiFest is being celebrated at Hortiscape, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, Kohima alongside the 25th State Hornbill Festival. The event, inaugurated by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, highlights the role of women as key contributors to Nagaland’s socioeconomic development.
First launched in August 2017, MykiFest celebrates the achievements of women and has been an annual feature of the Hornbill Festival since 2018.
The Myki Stall features products from the apparels & accessories production programme, the Food Processing & Resource Centre, and the creations of trainees and instructors from the Multi-Training Centres in Kohima and Dimapur.

The main attraction is the Exhibition of Tribal Attires & Designs, organized to promote and preserve the textiles of Nagaland’s 17 recognized tribes under the Protection & Promotion of Textile Designs 2024-25. The exhibition focuses on:
• Preserving tribal weaves and designs.
• Promoting contemporary tribal attires
• Supporting women entrepreneurs and weavers.
• Generating livelihood opportunities.
• Creating market linkages and boosting tourism.
The ongoing event celebrates the spirit of women-led entrepreneurship while showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Nagaland.
