The Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) organised by the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department to test the capability of the State to respond to any event of Disaster will be conducted on the 24th October 2024 simulating Earthquake Scenario.
In this connection, as a precursor to the NEPEx, an Orientation and Coordination Meeting/Conference will be held on the 9th October 2024 by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with NSDMA, with the Advisor, NSDMA, Home Department and all the DDMAs in a virtual mode. The link to attend the programme will be sent in due course of time before commencement of the programme, the Authority informed.
The NSDMA has also intimated that AHoD/HoDs concerned may kindly attend the VC along with Nodal officers of their Departments/Directorates, and the DDMAs have been requested to attend the VC along with the DDMA members.
