Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, has informed that the interview/Viva-Voce for candidates provisionally shortlisted under the Police Constable (Recruitment) will be conducted in the first week of March 2026.
According to the notice issued by the Presiding Officer, District Level Selection Committee (DLSC)-cum-Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, the interviews will be held at the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur. The interview schedule has been arranged batch-wise. The first batch will report at 9 a.m. at the CP Office Conference Hall, while the second batch will report at 12 noon on the respective dates. The interviews would be conducted on March 5, 6 and 7 covering candidates shortlisted from various categories.
Candidates have been instructed to report to the venue 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time without fail. They must mandatorily produce their Admit Card at the time of reporting. All candidates appearing for the interview are required to bring original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the following documents: proof of minimum educational qualification (Class 6 passed certificate/mark sheet for Backward Tribes of Nagaland and Class 8 passed certificate/mark sheet for other Indigenous Naga Tribes of Nagaland), valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Driving Licence), Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, Scheduled Tribe Certificate and Backward Tribe Certificate (where applicable), proof of date of birth (Birth Certificate, Matriculation or equivalent admit card), NCC certificate (if any), and No Objection Certificate (NOC) in original for candidates employed under Government/Public Sector Undertakings.

Candidates have also been advised to regularly check the Nagaland Police official website/portal or the notice boards of their respective district DCP offices for further updates. Those who are appearing for the HSSLC/Board examinations on the designated date of interview have been asked to write to the Presiding Officer, DLSC (Dimapur/Chümoukedima & Niuland) along with a copy of their admit card for rescheduling of the interview date.
Any complaints or grievances related to the recruitment process must be submitted in writing to the Member Secretary, DLSC. Further appeal may be made to the Presiding Officer, DLSC for redressal.
