PIB conducts media tour to Bihar

Under the aegis of the Press Information Bureau, Kohima (Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India), a seven-day media tour to south Bihar for journalists from Nagaland began on March 16. The team departed from Dimapur Airport and will return on March 22.

The tour aims to help local media observe the implementation of government schemes, cover key programmes of various ministries, interact with journalists from other regions, and understand the socio-economic and cultural aspects of different states.

The team includes representatives from the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and print and electronic media organisations, led by PIB officials from Kohima.

The delegation is guided by P Sophie, Head of Office, PIB Kohima, along with one official from PIB Kohima, besides representatives from DIPR, print and electronic media organizations.

The delegation would visit key government initiative project sites and important historical locations in Patna, Nalanda, Rajgir, and Bodh Gaya.
