The Lotha Hoho on Monday organized a formal programme at Lotha Hoho Ki, Wokha, for the induction of the new office bearers of the Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) for the tenure 2026–2029. The event was attended by outgoing and incoming members along with representatives of various frontal organizations.
The new team of LYH will be led by Mharomo V Murry as President.
In his farewell address, outgoing President Limhathung Yanthan expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support received during his three-year tenure. He acknowledged the limitations faced in fulfilling the aspirations of the public, urging the congregation to recognize human lapses in leadership. He encouraged the new team to remain dedicated, patient, and perseverant, emphasizing that such qualities are essential for making decisive decisions. Yanthan assured his continued support whenever approached by the new leadership.
Delivering his acceptance speech, incoming President, Mharomo V Murry congratulated the outgoing team for their successful tenure. He pledged to work closely with all frontal organizations to bring meaningful change, reiterating that LYH, as an NGO, functions without resources or revenue but is committed to selfless service for the welfare of the Lotha community. He sought cooperation and collective effort to strengthen the organization’s mission.
