The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has congratulated the newly elected Chairperson, Neibodzelie Solo and Deputy Chairperson, Thenusou Sekhose of the Kohima Municipal Council.

Addressing the leaders at the party’s Central Office on Tuesday, MLA and Secretary General Achumbemo Kikon emphasized the importance of transparent governance and judicious utilization of funds to meet the people’s expectations.

“As Kohima is a Smart City, the functioning of the municipal council is crucial,” he said, urging them to work diligently to make Kohima a beautiful city.

Kikon also reminded the councillors of the public’s high expectations and asked them not to disappoint in delivering their duties for the welfare of the society.

He appreciated the outgoing Chairman and Deputy Chairman for their efforts in uplifting the office and contributing to Kohima’s development.
