In the interest of public safety and security, Commissioner of Police Dimapur has issued traffic advisory which would be enforced on April 6 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to the Traffic Advisory, no entry for heavy vehicles would be permitted along the stretch of National Highway 29 from Airport Junction (3rd mile) to 4th Mile (Central Jail) and along the road stretch from 4th mile (Central jail) till Four Lane intersection Over Bridge at Showuba village.
No parking would be permitted along the stretch of National Highway 39 from Airport Junction (3rd Mile) to 4th Mile (Central Jail) junction.
Additionally, vehicles would allowed to park only on one side of the road between the road stretch from 4th mile (Central Jail) junction up to Old Showuba town.

The Commissioner of Police notified that any defaulting vehicles in violation of the traffic advisory would be towed away.
Dimapur police requested all citizens to extend their cooperation and adhere strictly to the advisory.
