Nagaland Governor, Nand Kishore Yadav visited Phek district on April 15 and conducted interactive session with Civil Society Organisations of Phek and reviewed meeting with different government departments at DC’s Conference Hall, Phek.
In his address at the civic reception program held at DC’s conference hall, Phek, the Governor expressed his sincere gratitude to the district administration, community leaders, civil society organizations, and people of Phek for the warmed reception and gracious hospitality extended to him.
The Governor spoke about reflection of the rich culture, traditions, and heartfelt spirit of the people of Phek. He also stated that he would firmly commit to working together with all section of society- public representatives, tribal bodies, civil society organizations, and the administration to build a peaceful, developed, and inclusive society in the state.
He also said that his visit was not only to understand the developmental needs and aspirations of the district, but also to strengthen the spirit of cooperation and collective responsibility.

Later, the Governor also conducted a review meeting with different departments of the district. The Department of Health & Family welfare, School Education, and Rural Development highlighted their ongoing activities, schemes, and achievements of their respective department in the district through PowerPoint presentations at the review meeting.
During interactive session, the Governor commented on the schemes, activities presented by the respective departments, and encouraged the departments to hard work with sincerity for the welfare of the people.
President of Chakeshang Public Organisation (CPO), Vezuhu Keyho delivered speech on behalf of Chakeshang public at the program.
Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, NCS, delivered the welcome address.
