Nagaland Education Project-The lighthouse (NECTAR) Kohima conducted a one-day capacity building for School heads & teachers on Education Management & Information System (EMIS) at Town Hall, Bhandari on April 15.

The resource person of the program, Senior Support Executive (NECTAR Lighthouse), Tinuyanger Aier highlighted the features and functionalities of EMIS including, the collection & Management of student’s data, Teacher’s Information, School Infrastructure, Attendance Records and Academic Performance.

During the session, the Co-ordinator, EBRC Bhandari, Y, Thungdemo Humtsoe urged the teachers to collect Lotha text books, and remained them to submit the required details on time. He also emphasized the proper use of Teaching Learning Materials (TLM) in teaching and its effective displaying in the class room. He further informed that a medical camp will be held at Wokha on 25th April 2026.

The one-day training was attended by 66 Government Schools and 8 private schools along with 140 teachers from Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC), Bhandari.
