SP Office building inaugurated at Tseminyu

The new office building of the Superintendent of Police, Tseminyu was formally inaugurated by MLA & Chairman DPDB, Tseminyu, Ar. Jwenga Seb on April 17.

In his inaugural speech, MLA Ar Jwenga Seb, who attended the program as the special guest,    expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Niephiu Rio and Deputy Chief Minister (Home) Y  Patton for construction of the office and completing it on time.

Seb also acknowledged the guidance and leadership of Niephiu Rio and Y Patton for successfully conducting the recent Police constables recruitment in the state fairly. He asserted that transparency and merit based system should be encouraged in any recruitment process in the state.

Director General of Police, Nagaland, Rupin Sharma, IPS, in his speech stressed about the limitation of customary laws and encouraged the citizens to take good advantage of problem solving by the State Police force. Sharma appealed to the gathering to trust the Police force and come forward with a responsibility by registering crimes in the state.

Earlier, the program started with a dedicatory prayer by Pastor Yhunthonglo Khing, Tseminyu Town Baptist Church followed by inauguration of the office building by MLA, Ar. Jwenga Seb. Welcome address was delivered by SP Tseminyu, Talisunep Imchen, NPS, while the technical report was presented by Executive Engineer, (PEP) Kohima Division, Jenithung Kikon.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Additional SP, Tseminyu, Lanu Aier, NPS.
