In a significant boost for Nagaland’s music scene, musicians Takotemjen Chang and Temsujungba Jamir of the band Trance Effect have earned international recognition through an endorsement deal with Japanese guitar maker FGN Guitars, also known as Fujigen.

The brand, established in 1960, is renowned globally for its high-quality craftsmanship and has collaborated with some of the world’s leading guitar labels.

Chang and Jamir have built a reputation for their tightly synchronized performances, effortlessly alternating between rhythm and lead roles to produce a rich, layered sound. Their rise has been marked by notable achievements, including a performance at Lollapalooza India, sharing the stage with rock icons Def Leppard, and embarking on a Southeast Asian tour that expanded their international footprint.
