State President of BJP Nagaland, Benjamin Yepthomi graced the Moatsümong 2026 celebration at Aoyimkum Village as the Special Guest, accompanied by party officials. The programme, organised by the Aoyimkum Lanur Telongjem, witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, youth, and community leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Yepthomi highlighted the crucial role of youth in nation-building and community development, stating that the youth are not merely the leaders of tomorrow, but the leaders of today. He encouraged them to take initiative, build strong character, and contribute actively towards societal progress.
Emphasising the importance of values and faith, he urged the gathering to remain rooted in their spiritual beliefs and uphold obedience to God in their daily lives, noting that strong moral foundations are key to a united and progressive society.

He also appreciated the efforts of the organisers, Aoyimkum Lanur Telongjem, for successfully hosting the event and promoting unity, cultural heritage, and youth engagement.
The Moatsümong festival, celebrated with traditional fervour, reflected the rich cultural heritage of the Ao community and reinforced a spirit of unity, identity, and pride.
