The Drug Disposal Committee for State Level Police Stations PHQ carried out the disposal of seized Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic (NDPS) duly confiscated by the Court, Special Judge NDPS, Kohima on May 16 at Kohima dumping site, Meriema.
Superintendent of Police (N&P) and Member Drug Disposal Committee for State Level Police Stations, Poolicharla Ramanaiah, IPS briefed that the Drug Disposal Committee has approved the disposal and destroy a total of 24 cases of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) that included 8 kgs heroin, 31 kgs opium, 370 kgs ganja, and other LDPA substances like Ramadol and matter of nitrogen worth rupees 36 crores 57 lakhs 28,000 rupees.
The disposal of seized Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) was carried out by the Drug Disposal Committee after being satisfied with the Court Order and physical verification recommended for the disposal and logistic arrangement made as per the procedure for its disposal.

Chumrenthung, IPS, Superintendent of Police (Crime) & Member, Drug Disposal Committee for State Level Police Stations Nagaland Kohima, Dr. Mhalo Ezung NPS, EAC Headquarter (Magistrate), Kwriethozo, NCS, Assistant Director, Kripa Foundation Kohima, Khyuchamo P Ezung and Dobasi Keduoneilie.
