Khotuoü Liezietsu, wife of former Chief Minister, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu passed away on Sunday at Apollo International Hospital, Guwahati.

Born on 26 July 1939, Khotuoü Liezietsu was the daughter of Dzobvüo Ciesotsu and Guoviü. She was the eldest among seven siblings, with four sisters and two brothers, and was dearly loved by all who knew her.

She pursued her education in Shillong and later returned home to serve as a teacher at Baptist English School, Kohima. It was there that she worked alongside Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu. The couple got married on 25 January 1964 and together built a loving family, raising four sons.

Khotuoü Liezietsu is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom remain a cherished part of the legacy she leaves behind.

Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio has expressed grief at the passing away of Khotuoü Liezietsu, wife of former Chief Minister, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu.

In a condolence message, Rio stated that late Khotuo-ü was a prayerful woman who kept her family united through faith and love.

Stating that she would be fondly and lovingly remembered for her warmth, kindness and friendly nature by all those who had the privilege of knowing her, Rio stated that in her passing, the family has lost a guiding light. He prayed that her legacy of good ness would continue to inspire many.

In this time of sorrow, Rio and his family extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that God Almighty grant them the strength and solace to endure the irreparable loss.

Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton also expressed deep grief over the passing of Khotuou Liezietsu, wife of former NPF President and former Chief Minister Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu, who passed away in Guwahati on Sunday morning.

Patton, on behalf of himself and his family, extended heartfelt condolences to Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu and the bereaved family members during this time of sorrow. He said that the memories of her warmth, kindness, and support for people around her will always remain in the hearts of many.

Praying for eternal peace for the departed soul, Patton also prayed that God grant strength, comfort, and courage to the grieving family to bear this irreparable loss.

The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) expressed its profound sorrow over the passing of Khotuo-ȕ Liezietsu, beloved wife of former Chief Minister of Nagaland and former NPF President, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu.
