The Ao Students’ Union Dimapur (ASUD) successfully launched the ASUD official website www.asud.in along with its Entrepreneurship and Business Development Initiative on May 28 at the official residence of the Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland.

The website was formally launched by the Chief Secretary, Sentiyanger Imchen, in the presence of ASUD officials.

The newly launched ASUD official website aims to serve as a digital platform for disseminating information regarding the Union’s activities, announcements, student-related initiatives, and organizational updates. The platform is expected to strengthen communication and engagement among students and the wider community.

Entrepreneurship and Business Development Initiative has been introduced with the vision of Promoting Entrepreneurship & Business Development, Innovation, build a Supportive Community, Support Sustainable Development and Strengthen Marketing Skills. The initiative seeks to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs by Providing Access to Resources, Networking Opportunities, Training & Mentorship, Market Access and Capacity Building.

Sentiyanger lauded the efforts of the Ao Students’ Union Dimapur (ASUD) in embracing digital advancement and promoting entrepreneurship among the younger generation. He emphasized the importance of innovation, leadership, and self-reliance in today’s rapidly evolving world, and encouraged students to actively contribute towards economic growth and community development.

He further urged the Union to remain practical in its approach and work collectively towards the overall growth and progress of society in general.

ASUD expressed gratitude to the Chief Secretary for his valuable encouragement and support towards youth empowerment and developmental initiatives.

The Union further stated that the launch of these platforms marks a significant step towards modernization, connectivity, and fostering entrepreneurial growth among students and young professionals.
