The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima has informed the public about the National Human Rights Commission’s (NHRC) Short Film Competition 2026 (12th Edition), organized on the theme “Human Rights Issues.”

According to a circular issued by the Deputy Commissioner, the competition is open to individuals, educational institutions, universities, colleges, schools, civil society organizations, NGOs, village bodies, and other interested participants across Kohima district.

The last date for submission of entries is June 30, 2026. Entries must be submitted online via Google Drive to nhrcshortfilm@gmail.com.

The DC’s office has encouraged all eligible participants to take part in the competition. Detailed guidelines, application forms, and undertakings are available on the NHRC website @ http:/nhrc.nic.in.
