First phase Census training programme concludes in Meluri

The first phase of the three-day Census Training Programme for Supervisors and Enumerators of Meluri District concluded on June 20 at DB’s Court, Meluri. The training commenced on June 18 and was conducted by four Field Trainers.

A total of 43 personnel participated in the training, including Supervisors, Enumerators, and Reserve staff from Meluri Sadar and Lephori Circle. The programme focused on census procedures, data collection methods, field responsibilities, and the proper use of census-related guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient enumeration.

The trainers provided detailed explanations on various aspects of census operations, emphasizing the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and timely data collection. Participants were also given opportunities to clarify doubts and engage in interactive sessions.

DC Meluri, Phuleshe K Yepthomi, expressed confidence that the trained personnel would effectively carry out their responsibilities during the upcoming Census exercise and contribute to the successful implementation of the programme in Meluri District.

The Census 2027 First Phase Training for Enumerators and Supervisors in Meluri District was supervised by the Charge Officers, namely Zuchebemo Ezung, EAC Meluri; Kumari Pipfusa Pojar, EAC Meluri; and Rangam Nyuwi, SDO (PHED).
