A decade of sound, a future of opportunity. As Beat Devices celebrates its 10th anniversary, the company is turning the milestone into a meaningful initiative by sponsoring an aspiring sound engineer, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing local talent and strengthening Nagaland’s music industry.
Beat Devices has marked a significant milestone as it celebrates its 10th anniversary, commemorating a decade of supporting music, creativity and the growth of Nagaland’s sound industry. The company recently hosted an exclusive Prelude event on June 20 at its store in Jail Colony, Kohima, bringing together individuals who have been part of its journey since its inception.
Rather than limiting the anniversary to celebrations, Beat Devices has chosen to dedicate the occasion to a meaningful cause. Proceeds from its upcoming anniversary event will be used to sponsor an aspiring sound engineer, providing an opportunity for professional training and helping build a career in the field.

Founder and owner, Kezhazelhou Ltu said the initiative reflects the company’s desire to give back to the industry that has shaped Beat Devices over the past decade. He noted that supporting the next generation of sound professionals is one way of investing in the future of Nagaland’s music ecosystem.
What began as a passion for quality sound has grown into a platform that continues to empower artists, encourage creativity and contribute to the development of the local music scene.
The grand 10th Anniversary Celebration is scheduled for July 10, 2026, at 5 p.m. at ImagiLAND, Kisama Heritage Village. The event will feature performances by several local bands and artists, celebrating the rich musical talent of Nagaland while raising funds for the sound engineering sponsorship initiative. Tickets have been priced at Rs 300, making the event accessible while allowing attendees to contribute to a meaningful cause.
The Prelude event also featured soulful performances by Jonathan Yhome, Pelenuo Yhome and special guest Kapil Chettri, creating a memorable evening that celebrated not only music but also the relationships and shared experiences that have defined Beat Devices over the past ten years.
