MGM College holds Ayushman Bharat Health Card Enrollment Drive

MGM College successfully conducted the 100 Days Ayushman Bharat Drive under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS).

Organized by Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS), Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland in collaboration with District Administration, Dimapur, and the Department of School Education, Nagaland, the enrollment camp was conducted in MGM College auditorium with the objective of facilitating the issuance of health cards to students, faculty members, and staff, thereby ensuring greater accessibility to healthcare services and financial protection during medical emergencies.

The session was conducted by Moameren, District Programme Coordinator, Dimapur/Chümoukedima/Niuland, NHPS and Yanger, District Programme Coordinator, Dimapur/Chümoukedima/Niuland, NHPS, along with  Temjen Longkumer, Nodal Officer MGM College (Department of Education).

The officials visited the college and supervised the enrollment process while providing guidance and support to the beneficiaries. The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members, with a significant number of beneficiaries successfully enrolled for the health insurance schemes.
