A meeting on the ongoing Census exercise for East Dimapur Town was held at the Conference Hall of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, on July 9. The meeting was chaired by Imliwabang Aier, NCS, Extra Assistant Commissioner and Town Census Officer, Dimapur.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Diana Patton, ADC, Dimapur, called upon the councillors and Gaon Buras to extend full support and assistance to the enumerators during the House Listing Operations. She stressed that the accuracy of Census data was of utmost importance and urged all stakeholders to cooperate and coordinate closely with the Census officials to ensure the successful completion of the exercise.
Addressing the gathering, Imliwabang Aier expressed his gratitude to the councillors and Gaon Buras for their continued support and cooperation in the Census exercise. He informed that the House Listing Operations were currently underway and urged the participants to disseminate awareness among colony residents about the importance of the Census.

He appealed to them to sensitize the public to cooperate with the enumerators and provide accurate and truthful information so that the Census data would be reliable and comprehensive.
The meeting concluded with an appeal to all concerned to work together for the smooth and successful conduct of the ongoing Census operations in East Dimapur Town. The meeting was attended by the councillors of the East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC), and Gaon Buras of all wards under East Dimapur Town.
