The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire has announced that it would confer the District Commendation Certificate Award, 2026 on government officials and employees who have rendered exemplary and distinguished service in the district.
The decision was taken following deliberations during the Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Meeting held on July 15, 2026.
According to the circular issued by the DC’s Office, the award aims to recognize individuals who have consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity, innovation, leadership, and commitment to duty beyond the normal call of service. The initiative also seeks to promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and citizen-centric governance across all government departments in Kiphire District.
All Heads of Departments/Offices have been requested to identify and nominate deserving officers and officials from their respective establishments. Nominations must be submitted with supporting documents as prescribed in the annexure.
The complete nomination dossier must reach the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire on or before 1st August, 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected.
The District Administration has stressed that due diligence should be exercised in the selection process to ensure only the most deserving candidates are recommended.

Nomination Guidelines & Checklist:
- ELIGIBILITY: Nominee must:
- Be a serving Govt employee/official posted in Kiphire District.
- Have an unblemished record of integrity
- Have no pending disciplinary/vigilance case
- Have rendered noteworthy service impacting governance, public welfare, or dept performance
- EVALUATION PARAMETERS: Nomination should show achievement in any of these:
- Outstanding public service & commitment
- Exceptional work ethic & integrity
- Innovation in administration/service delivery
- Leadership & teamwork
- Timely implementation of Govt schemes
- Measurable contribution to district development
- Community engagement & citizen-centric work
- Crisis management/disaster response
- Efficiency, punctuality, discipline
- Any achievement bringing distinction to dept/district
DOCUMENTS TO BE ENCLOSED
- Forwarding letter from Head of Department
- Nomination Form – Name, Designation, Place of posting, Length of service
- Detailed Citation – Max 2 pages, highlighting achievements
- Brief Service Profile/Bio-data
- Documentary Evidence- Reports, photos, appreciation letters, certificates, records
- Copies of appreciation/commendations received, if any
- Certificate from Head of Department (HoD) stating: exemplary conduct, no disciplinary / vigilance pending case, information furnished is true and correct.
- SUBMISSION RULES
- Must be signed by HoD
- Only complete nominations with documents will be considered
- Nominate only truly exceptional candidates
- Decision of District Selection Committee is final.
