The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified for information of all the Heads of Institutions that Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) (www.sdfoundationindia.com), a non-profit organization established by S. D. Shibulal (Co-Founder & Former CEO, Infosys) and Kumari Shibulal (Patron) in 1999, has invited applications for the Vidyadhan Scholarship.

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program supports the college education of meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families. The students are selected after completion of Class 10th through a rigorous selection process. They will be initially eligible for a two-year scholarship of Rs. 10,000 per year for 11th and 12th studies. If they continue to do well, they will be given scholarships to pursue any degree course of their interest; these scholarships are directly offered through the Foundation or external sponsors who have registered with the Foundation. The scholarship amount for graduation varies from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 75,000 per year. The selected students are also provided training on soft skills and career counselling.

Eligibility: The scholarship is for economically backward students from families with an annual income below Rupees 3 lakhs. The students should have passed their HSLC Examination 2026 from Nagaland with 70% and above (60% for students with disabilities) or A+ grade in all subjects. The selected students will be eligible for a scholarship amount of Rs. 10,000 per year for 11th and 12th. If they continue to do well, they will be given between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 75,000 per year for pursuing degree courses. Those eligible can apply online by logging into www.vidyadhan.org or the SDF Vidya App (available on the Google Play Store) from April 29, 2026 to August 31, 2026.
